Papers submission

CloudViews 2010 – Papers submission

“To Cloud or not to Cloud” was the motto for a lively debate at “CloudViews – Cloud Computing Conference 2009″. This phrase inspired many of us in seeking answers for the problems being faced by current IT technology and ultimately the challenges presented to a true Cloud Ecosystem.
In the IT world, being part of an Ecosystem enhances our ability to be successful in designing and deploying innovative IT solutions in a collaborative way. To do just that, we need, among other things, proper support for mobility, accountability, security, predictability and provision platforms. Such technological enrichments will provide the right tools to establish an Ecosystem based on a set of services and platforms partnerships.

Submit your work

We invite the submission (through the proper form available online) of extended abstracts, maximum of 2500 characters, including spaces and punctuation, concerning the design and deployment of a true Computing Ecosystem in the Cloud. Topics of interest include (in the context of Cloud Computing):

  • Scientific computing applications
  • Performance evaluation and resource management
  • Predictability and provision platforms
  • Storage clouds architectures and implementations
  • Cloud computing security: models and frameworks
  • Cloud interoperability
  • Scheduling mechanisms
  • Elastic platforms
  • Service level agreements
